The Sekulovski Group, a premier boutique investment advisory firm specializing in retail shopping centers, net-leased properties and portfolio disposition. announced today the sale of Sawmill Plaza, a 194,696-square foot retail property located in Columbus, Ohio, according to Jeremy Botkin, Chief Administrative Officer of the firm. The asset sold for $27,400,000.
President Tony Sekulovski, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a private investment group out of California. Sekulovski also represented the buyer, an investor from New Jersey. The sale was facilitated with the assistance of agent Jeremy Botkin, and Alex Sekulovski of the firm’s New Albany, Ohio office.
The asset is currently 98% occupied by multiple long-term Corporate National tenants, such as Hobby Lobby, Starbucks, Lenscrafters, Trek Bicycles, and Advanced Auto Parts, as well as locally owned small businesses. The buyer was attracted to the property because of the strong anchor tenants, and steady cash with flow with rental increases. Sawmill Plaza is well situated, just off interstate 270, on the main retail corridor of the Columbus, Dublin area.
